1. Data controller and scope

• The data controller for personal data processed through cookies is Barış Karataş, operating under the Furver brand.
• This policy covers first-party cookies, browser storage used under furver.net, and third-party embedded content opened by users.
• Contact support@furver.net with questions about cookies and similar technologies.

2. Essential and security cookies

• FURVER_SESSION: starts a session, keeps an account signed in, and associates authorized actions. It is limited by session and security policies.
• csrf_token and session CSRF records: protect forms and account actions against cross-site request forgery and generally expire or rotate with the session.
• auth_token: may store signed device/browser-related information for secure authentication and may be session-only or last up to 30 days when “remember me” is selected.
• remember_token and remember_user: may remain for up to 30 days when the user expressly selects “remember me”.
• These records are necessary for requested session and security services. Blocking them can break login, forms, account management, and security checks.

3. Preference records

• lang: may remember Turkish or English for up to one year.
• theme or furver_theme: may store light/dark theme in a cookie, account setting, or localStorage for up to one year or until cleared.
• furver_accessibility_settings: stores larger text, reduced motion, and enhanced keyboard focus only on the current device until reset or browser data is cleared.
• These records provide the appearance chosen by the user; different devices and browsers may hold separate choices.

4. Drafts and temporary browser records

• Project and event creation screens may store draft form data in localStorage for recovery after accidental closure. Drafts are removed when submitted, manually cleared, or when browser data is cleared.
• Some interface dismissal or viewing choices may be remembered briefly in localStorage.
• Tab-specific temporary states such as message/draft queues may use sessionStorage and end when the tab or browser session closes.
• Do not enter unnecessary sensitive personal data or confidential third-party information into drafts.

5. Analytics, advertising, and consent

• As of this policy date, Furver does not actively use non-essential analytics or advertising cookies to track user behavior.
• If non-essential analytics, advertising, retargeting, or similar technologies are enabled, they will remain off by default and will not run without a clear, specific, affirmative choice.
• “Accept”, “reject”, and detailed preference choices will be equally accessible, and consent may be withdrawn later.
• Essential cookies may not require explicit consent, but users are still informed about their purposes.

6. Third-party content

• YouTube videos do not load by default. A connection to YouTube is made only when you load one video or grant permission for third-party media.
• Check the domain and the provider’s cookie/privacy policy before opening third-party content.
• The third-party provider is responsible for cookies outside Furver’s direct control. Privacy-enhancing embed options are preferred where available.

7. Managing cookies and local records

• Browser settings let you view, delete, block, or allow cookies per site. localStorage and sessionStorage can be removed using “clear site data”.
• Theme and accessibility settings can be changed or reset through the relevant Furver menus. Drafts should be cleared from their creation screen where possible.
• Blocking all cookies may prevent login, secure form submission, and some account features.
• On shared devices, sign out and clear site data if necessary.

8. Legal grounds, rights, and changes

• Essential records rely on performance of the service relationship, legal duties, protection of rights, and legitimate interests in secure service. Explicit consent is used where required for non-essential technologies.
• Your rights regarding personal data processed through cookies and application methods are described in the Privacy Policy.
• This policy is updated when technologies or retention periods change. Material changes will use an appropriate notice or renewed preference process.

This policy reflects technologies active in the code as of July 8, 2026. You may grant or withdraw permission for third-party media at any time through the preference panel.
