Member Guide
Profile Verification and Trust Score
Building supporter trust is key for successful crowdfunding on Furver. This guide explains how the profile verification system works, the document upload guidelines in your Dashboard, and how a verified badge positively impacts your project reach.
Trust Score
Verification status, trusted badge rewards, and its positive effect on crowdfunding support
Verification Types
Individual vs. corporate applications, required details, and document guidelines
File Limits
JPG, PNG, PDF formats, 5 MB file size limit, strict verification checks
1. What is profile verification and why it matters
Verification adds a trusted checkmark to your profile. On kitlesel fonlama (crowdfunding) platforms, supporters are far more likely to back projects managed by verified owners, as it guarantees identity authenticity.
- Verified Badge: Once approved, a green badge appears on your profile and project cards.
- Verification protects the community from fraudulent activities and builds developer credibility.
- Only logged-in users who haven't already been verified can submit applications.
- You can track your application status directly through your system dashboard notifications.
2. Individual vs. corporate verification
You can apply for verification under two distinct categories, depending on whether you operate as a solo developer or an official business entity.
- Individual (Type 1): For solo developers, freelancers, and designers. Requires a government-issued ID card or passport.
- Corporate (Type 2): For official teams, studios, or agencies. Requires business registration certificates or official tax documents.
- Choose the type that matches your project setup — projects owned by a corporate team should utilize corporate verification.
3. Document requirements and file limits
The document upload system runs strict server-side validation checks. Submitting a file that fails these criteria leads to automatic upload errors.
- Supported Formats: Only JPG, JPEG, PNG, or PDF files are accepted.
- File Size Limit: The document size must not exceed 5 MB.
- You can upload only one file per application. Merge multi-page documents into a single PDF if necessary.
- PDF files must have a valid header. Image files must be clean, readable, and verify as actual images.
4. Step-by-step application submission
Verification applications are sent from the profile settings inside your Dashboard. Make sure you have your document file ready before starting.
- Go to your settings and select the Verification section.
- Select your category (Individual or Corporate).
- Write a detailed description explaining your background or business scope (minimum 10 characters, maximum 1000 characters).
- Upload your identification or business document in the designated field.
- Click Submit Application. The system will run CSRF and validation checks before saving.
5. Review queue and timeline
Once submitted, applications are processed in order. If there are issues with your document clarity or details, the admin may request resubmission via the Support Center.
- You cannot submit multiple applications concurrently. Only one request is active at a time.
- Reviews are usually completed within 48 to 72 hours.
- If your application is approved, your account status updates instantly and the checkmark appears on your public pages.
- If rejected, the system will notify you with the reason, and the upload lock is released so you can submit a corrected application.
Tip:
Make sure the name on your uploaded ID or business registration document matches the name on your Furver profile to avoid application rejections.
Common mistakes
- Uploading blurry or low-resolution images where text cannot be read by reviewers.
- Submitting descriptions shorter than 10 characters or leaving the explanation blank.
- Attempting to upload unsupported document formats (such as raw DOCX, text files, or zip archives).
- Mismatching the verification type — for example, applying as corporate but uploading a personal ID.
Quick checklist

- I have verified that the file size is under 5 MB.
- I have checked that the document details match my profile name.
- I have written a meaningful explanation that is longer than 10 characters.
